TL;DR

SQLBlitz processes all your data locally on your Mac. We don't collect, store, or transmit any of your data. Period.

Data Collection

SQLBlitz does not collect any personal data or usage information. The app operates entirely offline on your local machine.

Data Storage

All data you work with in SQLBlitz (CSV files, SQL queries, etc.) is:

  • ✅ Stored locally on your Mac
  • ✅ Processed in-memory using DuckDB
  • ✅ Never uploaded to any server
  • ✅ Never shared with any third party

File Access

SQLBlitz only accesses files that you explicitly open through the file picker. The app uses macOS security-scoped bookmarks to remember file permissions across sessions.

Network Access

SQLBlitz does not make any network connections. All processing happens entirely on your device.

Third-Party Libraries

SQLBlitz uses the following open-source libraries, which also do not collect data:

  • DuckDB - Local database engine (no network access)
  • CodeEditor - Syntax highlighting component (local only)

Children's Privacy

SQLBlitz does not collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

If we make any changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last Updated" date above.
