TL;DR

Use SQLBlitz responsibly. We provide the software "as is" with no warranties. Your purchase is handled by Apple through the Mac App Store.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using SQLBlitz, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the software.

2. License

SQLBlitz is licensed, not sold. Your purchase through the Mac App Store grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use SQLBlitz on your macOS devices.

You may not: redistribute, reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works based on SQLBlitz.

3. Purchases and Refunds

All purchases are processed through the Apple Mac App Store and are subject to Apple's Terms of Sale and Refund Policy.

SQLBlitz is a one-time purchase with no recurring subscription fees. For refund requests, please contact Apple Support directly.

4. Software Updates

We may provide updates, bug fixes, and new features from time to time. Updates are provided at our discretion and are not guaranteed. You are not required to install updates, but we recommend doing so for the best experience.

5. Data and Privacy

SQLBlitz processes all data locally on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your data or usage information.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

SQLBlitz is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

  • • Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
  • • Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of results
  • • Uninterrupted or error-free operation
  • • Compatibility with all file formats or data types

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SQLBlitz and its developer shall not be liable for:

  • • Any loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
  • • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • • Any damages arising from use or inability to use the software

Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with SQLBlitz is to stop using it and request a refund through Apple.

8. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • • Use SQLBlitz in compliance with all applicable laws
  • • Maintain backups of your important data
  • • Not use SQLBlitz for any unlawful or prohibited purpose
  • • Verify query results before making critical decisions

9. Third-Party Software

SQLBlitz uses open-source libraries including DuckDB and CodeEditor. These components are subject to their own licenses and terms. We make no warranties regarding third-party software.

10. Termination

Your license to use SQLBlitz remains in effect until terminated. You may terminate it at any time by deleting the app. We may terminate or suspend access if you violate these terms.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective when posted with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of SQLBlitz after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable in your jurisdiction, without regard to conflict of law principles.
